MAKEUP REVOLUTION Fast Base Stick F1 These are now available in DMs and when I swatched one in the shop, I just loved how the texture melted into the skin and it looked so perfect on the back of my hand. Also the lightest shade is very light, so it's a new foundation in the drugstores that's appropriate for Snow Whites. But when I tried it the first time on my face, I was less impressed with the texture. While the formula is so soft and buttery, it sat weird on the skin, like a heavy foundation that refuses to blend in well (I used a brush). In a strange turn of events, this looked more decent at the end of the day - all the patchiness was gone and it looked blended much better, so this is definitely a formula that needs to be warmed up to blend in well. Coverage is very high, almost full and the finish is somewhat satin - if I apply a thin coat it's more matte, if the layer it thicker it's a bit satin shiny (my skin is currently dry). It lasts well on the skin, even on...

My top 10 favourite lipsticks

Image
The last time I made one of these posts I was just starting blogging and I was still deep in the late 00's corpsy nude trend, though even then I had some nice pink favourites and a red. I've since jumped more on the modern 90's revival, I rarely wear anything very nude because with my colouring I feel I need something to define the lips, so it makes me look more alive as well as pulled together. I've attempted to do this post several times, versions of pictures have been taken four times in the last two years, but every time I had other things to review, so my choices became outdated because I'm constantly finding new favourites. Last year especially I found so many great new shades, so I narrowed it down to 10 and swatched everything again since I have a proper camera now. Just about every shade here is matte because that's my favourite finish - shine and especially metallics are not my thing at all. This is also my 1000th post on the blog, so enjoy. I'll ...

Colourpop Lippie Stix Matte X and Matte

Image
When I was ordering from Colourpop the first time , I only got one L ippie Stix and it became an instant favourite. I literally mean instant because the moment it touched my lips, it became my favourite formula ever. When another free shipping offer came along I was also one of the sheeple who placed an order at Colourpop, but this one I only got Lippie Stixes. I got two in Matte X formula (like Cami) and two in Matte. It just confirmed to me that Matte X is a brilliant formula and I wish they had more shades that would appeal to me, but Matte was a bit of a let-down. I've already reviewed Cami  and you can find reviews of liquid lipsticks there too.  Since Matte X has been reviewed already, I'll be short here - it's incredibly pigmented, you barely touch your lips and you get enough colour. It's super light, like you have nothing on and it has a perfect matte finish, the best out of all regular lipsticks I found. It also lasts well on my lips and isn't drying. Asid...
