Sheet Masks: A'Pieu, Etude House, The Face Shop and The Saem

Image
THE SAEM Natural Skin-fit Mask Sheet Lemon Promises a brightening effect. Sheet : These have some of the best sheets because they are those thin ones that look almost clear on the face. It also fits me rather well in terms of where the cutouts are, though it extends into my hairline, which is a good thing for you, since I have a petite face and this means it's not too small. Only the part above the lips is just way too thin. Essence : This one has a classic serum like essence, which isn't sticky or heavy. The moisturising grapefruit version has a different, very comfy lotion like essence, while this one is lighter and doesn't have that soothing feeling. Scent : It's got a gentle lemon fragrance and it that good, non-cleaning products way. Effect : This wasn't my favourite brightening mask, as it didn't do much compared to some others like Papa Recipe or My Beauty Diary Black Pearl . My skin also felt a bit tight, so it's not that moisturising and I think i...

THE SAEM Cover Perfection Tip Concealer   01 Clear Beige This is one of the most popular K-Beauty makeup items and one that many have compared to Nars' Creamy Radiant concealer . Since I've tried several high coverage drugstore concealers, I wanted to see how this compares especially since it's easy to get online for a very affordable price. I consider Nars' concealer, Collection's Lasting Perfection and Look by Bipa Matte Camouflage dupes in almost every respect apart from the shades, while Catrice Liquid Camouflage is already a bit lighter in texture and has less coverage. Compared to all of these the Saem has the thickest, most concentrated formula as well as the most coverage. A tiny dot of product goes much farther than the rest, which is a good and bad thing because applying too much can very quickly get heavy-looking. It's great for spots and prominent imperfections, so if you're looking for high coverage, this is great for just a few dollars. It ...

L'OREAL Paradise Extatic Mascara While I agree with most that in terms of effect this is one of the best mascaras in the drugstore, I find it's too expensive (15 €) and what I resent a lot more si that it's dry within two months. European version also has less product than the US version and it's costs more, which I don't intend to support. There are plenty of similarly great mascaras that I'll buy instead. Repurchase: Maybe, but unlikely. CATRICE Liquid Eyeliner My favourite liquid eyeliner and the second in a row I've used up. It's very black, matte and lasts perfectly on the lids. Repurchase: Done. BALEA Refreshing Wash Gel Erfrischendes Washgel A great and simple gel cleanser with a skin friendly pH that I use as my second cleanser after oil. The only minus is the men's cologne kind of scent (strong and fresh), but I got used to it. Repurchase: Done . SECRET KEY Starting Treatment Essence Rose Edition I've gone through two 30 ml samples that ...

Makeup COLLECTION Lasting Perfection Concealer 1 Fair Boots closed their International site (why?!) so I stocked up on everything I need, this included. I actually have Catrice's Camouflage concealer in 005 for full coverage, but the shade is a bit too yellow for me, while this shade is paler and pink so it suits me better. It's also a dupe for Nars Radiant Concealer , at least on my skin and I know some won't agree, but I see no difference between them. Along with the other two I mentioned, it's one of those concealers that cover a lot. It covers almost everything, except very red blemishes  might need another layer and it gives the skin almost a doll like effect because it erases so much. It can look cakey on dry skin, so I tend to use it sparingly, especially under the eyes where I reduce the amount to a little dot of product and blend it in well. It's got a good staying power and it can last you almost all day, though I haven't tried it on oily skin yet, b...
