MAKEUP MILANI Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation + Concealer 00A Porcelain I've had this formula for a couple of years now in a different shade (their original lightest) which unfortunately I couldn't use because it was so dark and yellow, but luckily Milani released additional shades. 00A is one of the lightest (they've released some extra shades after this one called 00AA and 00BB) and it's my perfect match. It's pale and close to neutral so it ticks all the boxes for me. The formula is so far my absolute favourite "high" coverage foundation, by that I mean it's high for my taste, but it's a standard medium coverage formula. It looks great on the skin, it doesn't get all cakey towards the end of the day like Nars Sheer Glow or Revlon Colorstay do on me (I've really started to dislike both of those), it doesn't slip into pores and blends in seamlessly. I really have no minuses for this one. LOOK by BIPA Matte Camouflage Concealer  ...

Autumn Picks #4

Image
It's been a while since I made an autumn picks post because I skipped last year's one, but I'm reviving the series with a selection of products that I like to use in this time of the year. TOO FACED Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette   I shamelessly included this palette again in my autumn series of posts because I actually don't even have any new palettes that I use since the last post and also this is my most autumnal palette. Chocolate inspired hues are perfect for creating a classic brown smoky eye or something even warmer with some reddish tones. I know just about everyone has one of the new rusty-red looking palettes by now, but I'm still sticking to this old favourite. CATRICE Eyeshadow Stix   070 I decide my vibe These may be a hit-or-miss in terms of quality, but this shade is best performing. It's not quite as strongly pigmented as Kiko's eyeshadow sticks, but it's still good enough and I tend to use these as a base to intensify powder eyeshadows...

Best Buys in 2017

MAKEUP MAYBELLINE Fit Me Poreless + Matte It took six years, but I finally found a foundation that I love more/as much as Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum . I still utterly adore the latter and think it's one of the best foundations ever, but Matte + Poreless has my perfect shade and if you're as pale as me, a combination of a fantastic formula + a matching shade is almost impossible to find. It's got light-medium coverage, just what I like and a very natural finish that's neither too matte and neither shiny, so it also completely sets without any stickiness and it hides the pores a bit. 100 Warm Ivory is one of the palest shades I have and it has a warm undertone that isn't intense, which fits me since my skin tone is neutral. Unfortunately I have to buy this shade abroad, but our drugstores have 110, which is just a bit darker. This is one of the best buys I made this year. THE BODY SHOP Shade Adjusting Drops Lightening I so needed this in my collection. As someone with...

My Matte Liquid Lipsticks Collection

Image
Out of all makeup products, liquid matte lipsticks are my favourite (though fragrances come close), so I've tried a lot of them and don't plan to stop any time soon. My lips are rarely dry and I can wear pretty much anything (for those who don't know, I've been using only  Palmer's Swivel Stick and Flipbalm  for years), so don't expect a type of an overview post where I'll say this one is great and this one sucks. The truth is that none of these are bad and every single one works great for me, however, yes, there are some that are more matte and I can assume that the formula won't work for those with more sensitive lips. Also bear in mind I only buy stuff that I see a good review of or I find interesting when I swatch them in the shop, so for that reason I don't have Catrice, Essence or even the otherwise praised L.O.V.'s version because I saw in the shop that they aren't matte. So following are 14 different types of matte lip creams from 13...
