Sheet Masks: A'Pieu, Etude House, The Face Shop and The Saem

Image
THE SAEM Natural Skin-fit Mask Sheet Lemon Promises a brightening effect. Sheet : These have some of the best sheets because they are those thin ones that look almost clear on the face. It also fits me rather well in terms of where the cutouts are, though it extends into my hairline, which is a good thing for you, since I have a petite face and this means it's not too small. Only the part above the lips is just way too thin. Essence : This one has a classic serum like essence, which isn't sticky or heavy. The moisturising grapefruit version has a different, very comfy lotion like essence, while this one is lighter and doesn't have that soothing feeling. Scent : It's got a gentle lemon fragrance and it that good, non-cleaning products way. Effect : This wasn't my favourite brightening mask, as it didn't do much compared to some others like Papa Recipe or My Beauty Diary Black Pearl . My skin also felt a bit tight, so it's not that moisturising and I think i...

Sheet Masks and Patches: Etude House, My Beauty Diary, Mediheal, Saem, Secret Key and Vprove

ETUDE HOUSE Black Hydrogel Eye Patch I got this mostly because it's cute and it looks like a Catwoman Halloween mask, but I've tried Etude House's Line Patch and I find their stuff is quite good. This is a black hydrogel mask that promises a firming, brightening and moisturising effect. The patch: It's a classic hydrogel mask with a honey comb design. This means it's slimy when you take it out of the pack and you might have some problems with it sliding off, but as soon as it warms up in the first few minutes, it's stuck on pretty well. It fits nicely around the eyes, I put it close to my lower lash line, so I covered the circles with it. The only issue I had was with the ears falling off because they reached my hair line. The masks is a smoky grey colour instead of the advertised black. Essence: The hydrogel is the compressed essence, but you get some extra fluid in the plastic tray which prevents it from drying out. It's a very light essence that com...

Sheet Masks: My Scheming and Papa Recipe

Image
MY SCHEMING My Scheming is a Taiwanese brand and they have a large selection of sheet masks, not just of different formulas, but also different types of sheets. I bought all of mine on eBay, seller house_of_fashion.2013 with whom I have great experience. Prices for most are $1.80, some are $2.03 and Hello Kitty version is $2.47. Classic Series Moisturizing Facial Mask  Skin Clarifying Astringent This one is praised as a saviour for skin with breakouts and problems with excessive oiliness. I got it just in case my skin has a freak-out, so that's when I used it. Fit & Sheet : The classic series has a pretty standard sheet, material isn't stated in English on the pack, but I think it's cotton that's thin, but not utra thin like some sheet masks. The fit isn't bad on my petite face, just a bit big in the lower part, as a majority of sheet masks I've tried. Essence : is very light, as expected for such a mask and it's absorbed quickly. At all My Scheming mask...
