I've had my eye on this foundation for a while, actually ever since I saw the praises on Instagram and I heard the lightest shade is suitable for pale skin tones, but it was only when I saw these in person in a local DM that I got one. It's a stick foundation that is available in an amazing 18 shades and promises a quick application along with a natural, dewy finish - but that is just promises. Texture: This is a very buttery and smooth feeling formula, so it just glides on with ease when you're swiping it on the skin, similar to a high quality lipstick. However, though it promises a quick application, the blending process requires quite some time and effort. I find brushes don't do the best job as the foundation than just sits strangely on the skin, like a layer of a creamy product that refuses to melt in. A sponge is a better tool, but I like to warm it up first on the radiator for better results. Fingers work well, but it's a lot more time consuming than a sponge...

MAKEUP REVOLUTION Fast Base Stick F1 These are now available in DMs and when I swatched one in the shop, I just loved how the texture melted into the skin and it looked so perfect on the back of my hand. Also the lightest shade is very light, so it's a new foundation in the drugstores that's appropriate for Snow Whites. But when I tried it the first time on my face, I was less impressed with the texture. While the formula is so soft and buttery, it sat weird on the skin, like a heavy foundation that refuses to blend in well (I used a brush). In a strange turn of events, this looked more decent at the end of the day - all the patchiness was gone and it looked blended much better, so this is definitely a formula that needs to be warmed up to blend in well. Coverage is very high, almost full and the finish is somewhat satin - if I apply a thin coat it's more matte, if the layer it thicker it's a bit satin shiny (my skin is currently dry). These come in to me three rather strange shades for highlighters, all were inspired by precious bars of metal. There's a stark silvery white inspired by platinum that would possibly look too white even on me, there's a very yellow looking gold bar that would suit dark skin tones and mine is a rose gold one with a strong pink tone. This is the second highlighter than impressed me from Makeup Revolution (first was Unicorn Heart). It appears they learned how to do finely milled glowy highlighters in the past tries rather well.  Texture: Formula is very buttery and pigmented, though you'll get that almost opaque super metallic look only if you apply it with fingers. Even with a brush you get a strong glow, I tend to use a thick big eyeshadow blending brush because I like a noticeable glow. If only this palette wasn't so warm. I'm still on the fence about Makeup Revolution eyeshadows, as they tend to differ in quality a lot inside one palette. It's actually no different in this one either, but the scales are tipped to the good side and especially mattes are nice in this palette. The Sophy X palette was created in collaboration with SophDoesNails (I'm not familiar with her) and it's very similar to the most popular palettes at the moment like Naked Heat and Renaissance palette.  Texture: Like I said the quality varies, but most of the eyeshadows are very impressive for the price. Shimmery shades are all very pigmented and creamy, which in some cases that's not such a great thing because brushes don't pick them up well and it's best to use fingers to apply them. Regardless of that Max Factor rarely disappoints when it comes to their mascaras and this is no exception, but it's also not a step forward. In fact I find it's got an almost the same effect as one of my favourite mascaras ever,  Voluptious   False Lash , also by Max Factor. The only real difference is that this one doesn't curl the lashes and hold the curl as well, but the overall effect is the same - big, voluminous lashes which are at the same time defined, since the plastic comb does a really good job. MAYBELLINE Fit Me Poreless + Matte 100 Warm Ivory I already have a full review about this, but of the shade 110 Porcelain which is the lightest we can get in Slovenia. I'm completely in love with this foundation, it's definitely up there tied with Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum as my favourite, it might be my all-time fave, I still need to see how it works all year round, but it's my preferred choice this summer. After years I finally had the chance to visit Austrian drugstores, which I realised now have almost identical assortment of products as Slovenia, so I was disappointed, but they do have three additional shades of this foundation, 100, 102 and 105. I have finally found my prefect match in both formula and colour - people, it's a miracle! 100 is almost the same as Fit Me Luminous + smooth version 110 , so about a shade lighter than Matte + Poreless 110 and it fits me pretty much perfectly.
