MAKEUP BEYU Beauty Queen Volume Mascara This is my favourite mascara with a regular, meaning non-waterproof, formula and I already miss it so much. Every mascara I get to try disappoints me in some or other way, but mostly because they don't keep my lashes at least a little bit curled. This one does everything I want - gives volume, definition and keeps my lashes lifted enough so I don't look like I have no lashes looking straight on. It can't compare to a proper waterproof mascara, but it does enough and it's easy to remove. The price is the thing that keeps me from buying it all the time, but every time a new disappointment lands in my mailbox, I regret not having this in my collection.   Repurchase: Yes. MAYBELLINE Volumin' Express the Mega Plush Mascara  Such a boring mascara, though not a useless one. It's so light and probably the most natural looking mascara I've tried. I had hoped this would thicken in time and start producing more volume, but that n...

Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid 25 Fuchsia Ecstasy

These already disappeared from the shelves here (at least in my local drugstores), since they were replaced by the Matte Inks , which are Maybelline's second and a lot more successful attempt at a liquid matte lipsticks. I got mine a swap from Canada, but they can still be bought online (for Slovenes on Salma and Spletična). Formula and finish: It's a lipstick-lip gloss hybrid with a similar formula to Revlon's short-lived Moisture Stains , as it has a similar almost cooling/watery feeling on the lips. Finish is creamy and it doesn't set to a matte one, but you can blot it. Due to not being matte, it's much more comfortable on the lips than Maybelline's proper matte lipsticks Matte Inks. Shade: My shade is 25 Fuchsia Ecstasy, which is a bright warm fuchsia. It's one of those intense hot pinks that stains a lot, so you can't just take it off, as the dry parts of the lips will stay tinted. Staying power: Matte Inks are some of the most long-lasting lip p...

BOURJOIS Rouge Velvet The Lipstick 02 Flaming Rose I finally got this in a shade I wanted myself. I've had four of these already ( 06&0 9 and 14&16 ), all press samples and none were in shades I'd wear every day, which sucked because the formula of these is amazing. I waited for a good discount and got the second lightest shade in the selection, so something I can wear with everything and is suitable for every occasion, plus it fits my pale skin tone. I've already reviewed the formula in depth, so just to recap, these are incredibly smooth and pigmented, and once they set, they have one of the best matte finishes that is close to the matte liquid lipstick look. Shade 02 Flaming Rose is a light pink shade which on me looks cooler than the packaging and the colour in the tube indicate. Müller, regular price 13.89 € CATRICE Light Correcting Serum Primer Candlelight I got this based on a recommendation of a reader Dejana, who raved about it in the comments. She said it...
