MAKEUP REVOLUTION Fast Base Stick F1 These are now available in DMs and when I swatched one in the shop, I just loved how the texture melted into the skin and it looked so perfect on the back of my hand. Also the lightest shade is very light, so it's a new foundation in the drugstores that's appropriate for Snow Whites. But when I tried it the first time on my face, I was less impressed with the texture. While the formula is so soft and buttery, it sat weird on the skin, like a heavy foundation that refuses to blend in well (I used a brush). In a strange turn of events, this looked more decent at the end of the day - all the patchiness was gone and it looked blended much better, so this is definitely a formula that needs to be warmed up to blend in well. Coverage is very high, almost full and the finish is somewhat satin - if I apply a thin coat it's more matte, if the layer it thicker it's a bit satin shiny (my skin is currently dry). It lasts well on the skin, even on...

MAKEUP  *BOURJOIS Eye Catching Mascara The latest mascara by Bourjois which comes in an adorable packaging with cats embossed on the cap. The brush is a classic one and it's dented (has shorter bristles) on one side, while the opposite side is very bushy. Formula looks thick and very creamy, but it's not a super messy type of formula like Catrice Lashes to Kill Pro . At first it created a natural & separated look with one coat, while several coats gave a moderate amount of volume. Now it's dried a bit and the volume is built up faster, though it's not as defining as it was from the start. For an "eye opening" mascara I expected it to both lift and hold lashes, but it does neither of these things. In fact I really put an effort in curling, plus added a thin layer of a waterproof mascara under it and yet this just dropped my lashes completely. It's an ok mascara in terms of being volumizing, but it's not for me because I want lift too. 13.49 € BEYU B...

My Top 5 Foundations

My Top 5 Foundation post is due for an much needed update (old one from 2015 is here ), since in the past years I've discovered three foundations that really impressed me. My skin type hasn't changed since I've done the last post, nor do I have any different preferences than before. I'm happy to report that in the past three years I found foundations that I don't like just for the formula, but also by some divine intervention also fit me in terms of shades. What a time to be alive! My skin is normal-combination that is drier in winter and oilier in the summer months. I still prefer to wear foundations that look natural on the skin and I'm prepared to sacrifice high coverage for that. MAYBELLINE Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation   100 Warm Vanilla  Coverage : light-medium Finish : semi-matte Undertone : yellow (both 100 and 110) Price : 8.99 € This very quickly became my favourite foundation ever, knocking Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum of its throne where is reigne...
