AliExpress Bargains #4

Image
This is my fifth such post about bargains I found on AliExpress and eBay, (I use AliExpress for everything apart from cosmetics since it's often cheaper than eBay, while I use eBay for buying K-Beauty). Previous posts are here: link 1 , link 2 , link 3 & link 4 , plus wishlist 1 and 2 . Prices are the ones I paid, so they might be different from the link. Some links will eventually stop working, so just put the name/description of the product in the AliExpress search engine. Planets Sticky Notes There are several versions of planet sticky notes, I have Earth and Sedna. These are classic cheap sticky notes, so those with not the best adhesive, but they sure look pretty. All the stationery arrived in 22 days and were bought from the same seller. $0.84, link Watercolour Sticky Notes Just another pack of sticky notes, this one is in a pink watercolour print that only the most basic Instagram girl would buy. There are a few more options and shapes.  $0.68, link 0.5mm Mechanical Pe...

Missha Geum Sul Vitalizing Tension Pact SPF30 PA++

Image
Tension pacts are version of the popular cushion foundations and have a mesh over the compartment with the (in this case cream) foundation instead of a sponge soaked with foundation. After trying my first classic cushion compact by Tony Moly (a Pokemon edition) the whole concept really appealed to me as these are so great when you have 5 minutes to do your makeup. So I searched for more such products for me, at the top of my list were A'Pieu Air Fit #13 (I hear the shade is very pale), Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion and Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Cushion Foundation (I tested it quickly in Müller and it looks very promising), but then I saw this one while searching for reviews of a powder in the same line. There weren't many reviews about this, let alone swatches, but those few reviews that exist were very positive. This is a part of a Missha's popular anti-age line Geum Sol and it contains ginseng water. Texture & coverage: First few dabs on the tension fabri...

L.O.V. LOVtreat Color & Care Nail Lacquer 640 Soft Sensuality

Image
I still consider L.O.V nail polishes some of the best in the drugstores and they are my favourite, though I probably should emphasise that just about every nail polish lasts forever on my nails, so staying power isn't that important to me (though I think these outlast some other brands on me, but I can't say it'll be the same for those who have issues with their nail polish chipping fast). I love these because their formula is so nice to apply, so I in general have a lot less issues with these than with others and I love the shape of the brush because it fits my nails so well. I have several shades from their regular line called LOVinity and their gel top coat , which is also pretty good, but this shade was released last year and it's a part of their nude line of polishes that also provide some extra care.  640 Soft Sensuality is a milky nude shade that has a subtle warm undertone, though I could almost call it a neutral. It's the best shade I have for the no-nail...

Physicians Formula Nude Wear Glowing Nude Powder

Image
I'm not that big on finishing powders, in fact I rarely wear them and so far I've only liked two. The first is Bourjois Poudre de Riz Java , which I actually don't use that much anymore mainly because it's a loose powder and I prefer the less messy compact ones, so I use this second one from Physician's Formula a lot more often. The thing about powders and my skin is that they make my foundation cake up later in the day, so they are like a backstabbers that apply nicely and mattify, but then make the skin look so weird and make the makeup so obvious. Bourjois' Java and Physicians Nude Wear are so far the only powders I found that look natural on the skin and don't make me want to take the whole makeup off. Of course, I still want to try the universally loved Hourglass Ambient powders, but they are difficult to get as well as ridiculously expensive. It's a mix of four warm shades and the shimmery writing is just an overspray that disappears within the fir...
